| This was my freshman year in high school. Note the bleached bangs and the overall "freak/goth" appearance. | |||
| Thanks, O'Brien Rottman! | |||

| My sophomore year of high school, I was enticed by an acting studio-type-thing named O'Brien Rottman. The idea was that they set you up with headshots and basic training, and then they would get you the hook up with a decent agent in the area. Well, this was back in my more naive days (my parents are still in their own naive days; they'll never get out), and it turned out that the entire thing was some elaborate scam. Luckily, I had gotten some sort of "scholarship" (i.e., since they wouldn't have been able to get the entire fee from my family, they lowered it so that they could get all they could), so I went ahead and did the program. All I really wound up with was a set of second-rate headshots. Here's that photo. | |||
| Godspell Cast Photo | |||
| Photograph | |||
| I was assistant director for my high school's production of Godspell. I consider myself agnostic, leaning away from monotheism and towards atheism. Yet I really enjoyed watching the show. I think that says something about its quality, right? | |||
| Senior Photo: Black and White | |||
| Photograph | |||
| After being sick the day that senior photos were taken at school, I had to go to the photo studio myself to get some taken. If my photgraph wasn't taken by that specific studio, I could not be in the yearbook. Well, my photos actually turned out far better than I expected, and so we purchased some. Here's the two-tone shot! | |||
| Senior Photo: I Got It At Express | |||

| The photographer I had was very good with matching my outfits to corresponding to backgrounds. I'm not completely sure why I actually owned a long-sleeve shirt in Texas, but, whatever. | |||
| Senior Photo: I'm Cool | |||
| Photograph | |||
| This was, by far, everyone's favorite senior photo. Yay for professional photography. | |||
| Anticipating Crepes, Anybody Can Fly | |||
| Photograph | |||
| After seeing X-Men 2 with my friends, we were climbing the walls with anticipation to go eat. When I was a Freshman Resource Advisor my sophomore year, I used this photo to call myself "the FRA who can fly." | |||
| Vampire: The Masquerade | |||
| Photograph | |||
| At A-kon 14, I dressed up in costume for the annual Vampire: The Masquerade Live-Action Role-Playing game. I wound up getting the character "Taylor," the personal tailor for a late and great vampire, in search of a new client through the connections attending his funeral. | |||
| Surprise! | |||
| Photograph | |||
| Harrisball caught this photo of me while I wasn't looking. Incidentally, this is one of just a few white shirts I own (out of 140 total shirts!). This is my only surviving "sophomore year" photo. Unfortunately, Matthew had taken several of me with his digital camera, but he has never sent them to me. | |||
| I've Pantsed Myself! What a Jerk! | |||
| Photograph | |||
| Um, many people were in the bathroom, so I took my pants off. So Janine took a picture. So I put it on my wall, where you may find it "Surprise!" So I finally scanned it in and put it online. So just look at it already. | |||
