| I began featuring Songs of the Day in my AIM away message in February of 2004. Many people seemed to like it. Unfortunately, the playlist of those songs had been lost, and I have been unable as of yet to reconstruct the list fully. | ||

| Although April's songs were also lost in the hard drive error of 2004 (due to an electrical storm and my stubborn addiction to a MUD), I was able to reconstruct it with Shenja's help. I had burnt her a CD of April's songs, and she gave me lyrics from each track so that I could figure out what songs they were. | ||

| For the month of June, I went through my "Song of the Day Upcoming" playlist of songs. At some time or another, I felt these were worth featuring as Songs of the Day, but they never quite exactly found room in themed months. | ||
